Amanda Lopez is a Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) with over 16 years in Federal experience. Amanda started her federal career at NETL as a Contract Specialist on the Financial Assistance Team, working on grants and cooperative agreements for research and development projects with educational institutions, non-profit organizations, state and local governments and for-profit organizations. Amanda is currently a Contracting Officer on the Site Support Team, working on multi-million-dollar Site Support Contracts, Simplified Acquisitions, Architect and Engineering, Construction, and Purchase Card Acquisitions. Amanda has experience in procuring various products and services such as laboratory equipment, training, office supplies, designs and studies, renovations and new construction, and a wide variety of information technology hardware and software.

Amanda is a Fairmont State University Graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and is Level III certified in the Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) and Financial Assistance Programs.
