Mr. George A. White is the Unit Chief of the FBI CJIS Division’s Information Assurance Unit. Mr. White has nearly 40 years of experience in public sector IT and information security with most of those years leading personnel and programs across a broad spectrum of IT environments. In 2006, Mr. White entered on duty with the FBI at the CJIS Division in Clarksburg, West Virginia as a Technical & Security Architect and has subsequently held several progressively broader positions including Division Information Security Officer & Program Manager and Unit Chief. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. White was employed as a Senior Analyst by Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), supporting the Department of Defense/Joint Forces Command/Joint Systems Integration Command. During his time with SAIC, Mr. White led the analysis, assessments and demonstrations of leading-edge technologies for the purpose of filling technological gaps identified by Combatant Commanders. The 20 years prior to joining SAIC were spent at a multitude of global assignments as an active-duty uniformed member of the United States Air Force with all twenty years of his career spent working within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) space. Mr. White is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds MIS & CIS degrees from the US Air Force and St. Leo University.
